Bigfoot may be forever be a mystery

California, 1958,

Construction worker Jerry Crew reports to see Big Foot, a creature that is half ape half man. Over the years many photos and countless accounts have stated that they have seen this strange creature. Although there are many stories and "photos" taken of bigfoot are proven to be fake, there are still some stories that have yet to be proven wrong or photos proven to be fake. Although we wouldn't ever be able to prove if this creature exists, simply because the fact that people from different states and even different countries have reported of seeing "Big Foot". A family in michigan has reported a sighting and encounter, and a group of Russians state that Big Foot lives in southern Siberia, and of course countless times in California. Although the Russians claim this was a "living snowman" or in other words a Yeti. One could imply if they looked at all of these accounts and pictures of big foot, and then looked at a picture or drawing of a Yeti, you could see a significant similarity between them. Right now researchers frantically continue to search for Big Foot, this time in California's Redwood forest. Because of all of these accounts and pictures, without a significant amount of proof the mystery behind Bigfoot may never be truly solved because we don't have enough proof.

The Winchester Mystery house

Welcome to the Winchester mansion. Known as the Winchester mystery mansion. The name does not fall short, this is maybe the most bizarre mansion ever built with 160 rooms, 2,000 doors, 10,000 windows, stairways, 47 fireplaces, 13 bathrooms, and 6 kitchens. So what is so strange about this mansion? One main reason is it is rumored that it is inhabited by ghosts. There are also strange additions to the house such as a stairway that leads to a dead end, a door that just leads to a drop from the second floor and secret passages. Why was this mansion built so bizarre? The resident who built it, Sarah Winchester, claimed that her fortune was haunted by spirits. It is thought that she built secret passage ways to confuse any lurking spirits in the shadows of the mansion. She also wanted to occupy the good spirits with a nice place to stay. In 1996, a earthquake struck and damaged the front of the house. The owner of the house claimed it was a warning from bad spirits that she had spent too much money on the front end of the house.

In this bizarre mansion are there wondering spirits staying in as residents? Are there bad spirits lurking in the shadows waiting to be mischievous? What was Sarah Winchester's real intention in building this mansion? The questions may never be answered.

Who am I?

I was sitting around listening to music and a random thought pooped up in my mind: "who am I?" it inspired me to write a poem. The logic behind this poem was thinking about dreams and the gland that makes it happen. Some people choose to forget their dreams because they don't think it matters. I found that my dreams have helped me open my mind and made my imagination more vivid. Next time you have a dream, don't choose to forget it. Embrace it. It might inspire or help you with something if you think about it for awhile.

Who am I?
I am no one
I am a shadow
A distant illusion

Where am I?
In some distant dream
Swimming in your imagination
Reach far and you may find me

Don't be afraid
Embrace it
And let your imagination engulf you
Let your mind open
Open your eyes
You will like what you find

It has begun

Scientists have been testing on lab rats to cure dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and amnesia. With the help of a artificial chip in the brain they can now recover a memory with a touch of a button.

Nytimes.com states: "The rats were implanted with a tiny array of electrodes, which threaded from the top of the head down into two neighboring pieces of the hippocampus, a structure that is crucial for forming these new memories, in rats as in humans. The two slivers of tissue, called CA1 and CA3, communicate with each other as the brain learns and stores new information. The device transmits these exchanges to a computer."

I have this strange feeling that they are going to succeed with humans. I have a question though: if technology gets advanced enough to make people remember with a touch of a button will they be able to make people forget at a touch of a button?

Really, we are all mutants

Scientists have found that we have 60 different mutations in our DNA. Dailymail.co.uk states that:

"Findings by the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute in Cambridge and two other institutes in the U.S. and Canada revealed each one of us receives up to 60 mutations in our genome from our parents.

It shows that human genomes (our genetic makeup carried on 23 pairs of chromosomes) are mutated in both sperm and egg cells, resulting in changes to our DNA seen in neither parent.

The studies also confounded previous theories over whether most mutations came from the mother or father, with results showing that it varied dramatically in each individual."

So really, we are all truly mutants.

Shadow beings

You can see the beings in between the trees
One of the most famous pictures taken in 2005 by a paranormal taskforce in St. Louis, Missouri. In the 1950s this area was named "Zombie Road".  This is maybe the most interesting paranormal areas I have ever seen. Several EVP's have been recorded, but the real interesting thing is the spotted "Shadow beings" roaming the area as you can see in between the trees to the right. Most people say that the people who have died have been drowned and were mostly children. The river is called "The river of death" by many people in the area. You can also see the river in the picture to the right.

So, do you think those shadows in between the trees are the ghosts of the children who have been drowned? Do you think they prey on anyone who gets near the river and pulls them in?

Those questions may never be answered...
